About the role
The Oaks Academy is a secure post-adjudication facility providing comprehensive services to young men aged 13-17. The facility uses a trauma-informed, strength-based, gender-responsive model to empower youth to reach their full potential through education, skill development, and therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities
- Provide safety and around-the-clock in-person supervision of youth at a secure residential facility.
- Support the physical, personal, and health needs of each youth through individual counseling and skill development.
- Create a supportive environment for youth’s needs; monitor and document behaviors and activities.
- Assist with educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities.
- Collaborate with other professionals to establish and meet each youth's treatment plan goals.
Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test.
- Pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

$20/hour
Schedule
As a part-time Youth Care Worker, you will work no more than 29 hours a week. Availability will be discussed during the interview with the hiring manager.
