About the role
One Hope United's residential care program provides quality services to adolescents in foster care, supporting those who have experienced trauma and may be in crisis.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision for the youth in their residential home
- Train, model, and skill-build for the youth through individual and group instruction
- Teach the youth skills in daily living, recreational activities, socialization, and independent living
- Empower the youth toward the goals outlined in their Individual Treatment Plans and the OHU Residential Program Plans
- Implement the Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) approved behavior modification program (certification required)
- Support the youth's growth and development in a strength-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered manner
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of human services experience preferred
- Age 21 or older
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or better in General Studies
- Licenses & Certifications: Auto Insurance, Drivers License, Physical Exam/TB
Skills
Strength-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach to care and treatment.
