About the role

One Hope United's residential care program provides quality services to adolescents in foster care, supporting those who have experienced trauma and may be in crisis.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision for the youth in their residential home
  • Train, model, and skill-build for the youth through individual and group instruction
  • Teach the youth skills in daily living, recreational activities, socialization, and independent living
  • Empower the youth toward the goals outlined in their Individual Treatment Plans and the OHU Residential Program Plans
  • Implement the Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) approved behavior modification program (certification required)
  • Support the youth's growth and development in a strength-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered manner

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of human services experience preferred
  • Age 21 or older

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or better in General Studies
  • Licenses & Certifications: Auto Insurance, Drivers License, Physical Exam/TB

Strength-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach to care and treatment.
