Position Overview

Trainer will provide instruction and/or develop training related to local workforce needs in manufacturing. Work with staff to provide high quality lab training incorporating real world hands-on activities. Maintain training equipment for lab work. Facilitate offsite instruction if needed. Maintain lab student records and grades.

Qualifications

  • An Associate's degree in an engineering field or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Programmable Logic Controllers, Computer Numerical Control, Basic Manufacturing Processes, Robotics, 3-D printing.
  • Minimum of three to five years work experience in an advanced manufacturing environment.
  • Prior teaching experience preferred.

Professional Experience or Academic Qualifications

Covering subject matter taught.

Experience with Manufacturing Processes

The ability to conduct training in those areas.

Hired on a semester as-needed basis. The Lake Campus of Wright State University is located in Celina, Ohio. Special contract terms and conditions of employment apply.
