About the Role
We seek a Part-time Weekend Triage Nurse to join our growing weekend team. This is a 20-hour position that requires visit availability. Named by The Boston Globe as one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts for the last four years, our community-based, mission-driven hospice and palliative care organization offers a $5000 sign-on bonus for this role.
Responsibilities
- Respond to and triage all clinical calls received during daytime hours on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Address calls from patients and caregivers, create clinical treatment plans when needed, and coordinate on-site patient care responses.
- Work closely with the On Call Manager to ensure all patient needs are met during the shift.
Schedule
Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to 6 pm (20 hours per week).
Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Massachusetts.
- Good communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with a team.
- Strong critical thinking skills and triage experience.
- 2 years or more of hospice experience is preferred.
- Experience working with EMRs.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with Google Suite preferred.

Pay
Pay range: $41,500 - $46,500. This reflects an average starting range for this position. Individual pay is determined through a variety of factors, including experience, education, certifications, and skills, and can exceed the range.
