Part-Time Warehouse and Backup Box Truck Driver non-CDL

As a Box Truck Driver / Warehouse Operator, you will load and unload trucks, stock products, and ensure timely completion of all job functions. This position also involves driving company trucks for route deliveries and completing necessary paperwork while staying compliant with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery/transfer trucks to make appropriate deliveries to customers on assigned routes.
• Use scanners to place parts in proper bins and pull orders.
• Place product on pallets, wrap it in film, and band it using banding equipment.
• Drive company trucks to make route deliveries and meet delivery schedules.
• Maneuver trucks into position for loading and unloading.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations, including DOT requirements.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues; perform preventative maintenance.
• Report defects, accidents, and violations.
• Complete paperwork required for company and DOT regulations.
• Communicate with Fleet Management on maintenance issues and preventative maintenance of delivery trucks.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of previous experience driving 26-28 FT box trucks or any other commercial motor vehicle over 10,001 lbs. (Required).
• Valid truck driver license and relative endorsement for the specific state.
• Willing to submit to drug screens, background checks, and maintain a valid DOT medical examiner’s card.
• No recent moving or driving violations; must remain insurable at the standard insurance market rate.
• Ability to operate/drive a forklift.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.

Pay

$20.00 per hour

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 5:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. (End time varies on most days due to workload/coverage)
• Part-time, average 25 hours per week unless coverage is needed
