Description
Jazz for Peace (JFP) has given over 850 jazz benefit concert "grants" to benefit nonprofit organizations and good causes since 2002.
Responsibilities
- Keep track of which zip codes are being used by which volunteers
- Coordinate with JFP about which zip codes to use next
Requirements
- Flexible schedule, able to commit to 6 months
- Available to work up to 10 hours per week
- No specific skills required beyond willingness to help
- Prior experience in similar roles is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Tremendous assistance to JFP

- googling (we will give you the infomation you need) to find good causes by zip code
- sending invitations to these organizations to apply for a JFP grant
- making followup calls to see if you can answer their questions
- keeping track of which volunteers are working on which tasks

- googling and then sending internship letters to schools and programs
