PetVet Care Centers' Mt. Yonah Animal Hospital is currently seeking a Care Coordinator (Part-Time) to join their team.

Position Overview

Join our team as a Care Coordinator who contributes to the success of a high-performing organization committed to delivering superior care and exceptional service. Performs a range of administrative and customer service tasks, providing valuable support to the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and patients warmly and professionally.
  • Answer multi-line phones and respond to inquiries courteously.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently and accurately.
  • Check clients in and out while maintaining accurate records.
  • Communicate hospital policies, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions clearly.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
  • Process payments and balance cash drawer daily.
  • Handle prescription refill requests and client communications.
  • Cook up with doctors and technicians to ensure smooth appointment flow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception and lobby area.

Qualifications

  • Previous veterinary or medical front desk experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service background required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency (veterinary software experience a plus).
  • Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
  • Comfort working in an environment with animals of all sizes and temperaments.

Schedule

Rotating Saturdays and 1-2 weekdays
