Part-Time Trash Valet Porter – Evenings Only – Lehi – Truck Required

About the role

Looking for a short evening shift that fits around your life? WSI Trash & Recycling Valet is hiring Part-Time Valet Porters in the Lehi area. Shifts run 1–2 hours per evening, Monday through Friday, starting around 6:30 or 7:00 PM. No experience required; training is provided. Founded in Utah in 2010, WSI is a family‑owned, majority women‑operated company and a recognized industry pioneer in valet trash and recycling services, serving apartment communities across Utah, Nevada, and Idaho.

Responsibilities

• Walk assigned apartment community each evening to collect bagged trash, recycling, and cardboard from residents’ doors and transport it to the onsite dumpster, chute, or compactor.
• Separate recycling, check for contamination, and clean up loose trash around common areas.
• Use a mobile app to check‑in and check‑out, document the route, upload photos, and leave courtesy notices when needed.
• Occasionally assist with pet waste station servicing.

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older with a valid Utah driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Smartphone with an active data plan and location services required.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Reliable, professional, and self‑motivated.
• Physical demands: extensive walking, ascending/descending stairs, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Personal open‑bed pickup truck required for the position (training provided, no prior experience needed).

Schedule
