Part-Time Thrift Store Associate

Summary of Position

The Thrift Store Associate is responsible for those activities involved with sizing and pricing parcels for resale in the Thrift Store as well as assisting the store’s customers and displaying merchandise. This is a part-time non-exempt position.

Accountability

Reports to the Thrift Store & Depot Manager

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills required
• Previous retail or customer service training desired
• Must have the ability to positively portray the mission of St. Joseph’s Indian School
• Valid Driver’s License

Physical Demands

• Frequently lifts, carries or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing up to 20 lbs without assistance.
• Uses both hands and wrists repetitively for prolonged periods.
• Regularly bends, stoops, and crouches.
• Able to stand for prolonged periods.
• Uses the abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly over time without becoming fatigued.
