Responsibilities

  • Mow and trim grass on greens, fairways, tees, and roughs using appropriate equipment
  • Rake and maintain sand bunkers to ensure consistent playability
  • Change hole locations and move tee markers as directed
  • Perform hand-watering and operate irrigation systems to maintain turf health
  • Apply fertilizers and pesticides as needed, following safety protocols
  • Assist with sodding, seeding, and turf repair projects
  • Operate and maintain landscaping tools and machinery safely
  • Ensure cleanliness of the course by removing debris and emptying trash receptacles
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention or repair
  • Collaborate with team members to complete special projects and seasonal tasks

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) is generally preferred
  • Additional training or certifications in landscaping, turf management, or related fields can be beneficial
  • Understanding of lawn care practices, including the maintenance of greens, tees, and fairways
  • Experience in evaluating emergency crisis situations
  • Ability to operate and maintain a variety of power and hand tools safely and efficiently
  • Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of landscaping equipment, such as mowers, tractors, and hand tools

Pay

Compensation range starts at $16 per hour.
