About the role

The Associate I, Textiles Production at Goodwill of Colorado is responsible for processing donated clothing into inventory to be sold on the sales floor. This position requires sorting, hanging, pricing, and tagging textiles while adhering to company quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Sort donated textiles by season, color, and quality.
  • Inspect textiles to ensure they are in good saleable condition.
  • Hang, size, price, tag, and prepare textile items to be sold.
  • Make decisions to price according to Goodwill standards of quality and value.
  • Provide excellent customer service to fellow staff and customers.
  • Follow all retail center policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

  • One (1) year of retail experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to use basic technologies and make assessments about the quality and value of textile products.
  • Ability to use a dolly and pallet jack.
  • Effective communication skills.

Qualifications

  • A High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must have attention to detail and decision-making abilities.
  • Must have the ability to use a dolly and pallet jack.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, managers, supervisors, staff, and peers.
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule which may include weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed with occasional overtime.

Pay

$16.45 per hour. Your pay could increase based on the amount of textiles you can produce each hour.

Schedule

Preferred shift is Sunday - Tuesday. Our Retail Centers are open 9AM to 9PM Mondays through Saturdays and 9AM to 8PM Sundays.
