Part-Time Security Guard
The Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) governs 40 post-secondary educational institutions across Tennessee, including 13 community colleges and 27 colleges of applied technology. Columbia State Community College is seeking qualified individuals to join its part-time Security Guard pool.
- Duties may include:
- Monitoring campus facilities
- Patrolling grounds
- Responding to incidents
- Auxiliary support for emergency procedures
Positions are temporary and based on the immediate needs of the college. Weekly hours will vary by assignment but will not exceed 29 hours per week.

Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Effective communication and calm response in emergency situations
- Prior security or law enforcement experience preferred but not required
