About the role
Provide high-quality, accurate, and timely customer service in a retail banking environment, serving as the first point of contact for clients.
Responsibilities
- Process financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
- Maintain cash control and adhere to security policies.
- Handle cash drawer operations, ensuring compliance with audit and security procedures.
- Assist with daily ATM balancing and processing.
- Verify deposits and manage vault responsibilities.
- Deliver excellent client experiences by resolving issues promptly.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and promote bank products and services.
- Maintain compliance with banking regulations, policies, and internal controls.
- Stay informed of operational updates to ensure adherence to guidelines.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED, with preferred experience in cash handling or as a teller.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and office equipment like a 10-key calculator and coin counter.
- Strong customer service, communication, and sales skills.
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily and meet background and licensing requirements.
No supervisory responsibilities. Ongoing compliance with background checks, credit checks, and licensing regulations is required.
