Part-Time Teller

About the Role

Use your cashiering and customer service experience to kickstart your career in financial services. As a Part-Time Teller, you'll chat with and get to know our members to identify their financial needs and provide solutions that are in their best interest. While processing transactions like cash deposits, cash withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing, you'll engage with our members, ensuring they feel welcomed, valued, and leave satisfied.

Oregon State Credit Union, founded in 1954, is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial services institution. We exist for the benefit of our member-owners, not to profit from them. As the front-line face of the credit union, your service through friendliness and cash accuracy is critical to our success.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions including cash deposits, cash withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing
• Engage with members to identify financial needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Maintain math accuracy and professional appearance
• Ensure members feel welcomed, valued, and satisfied

Requirements

• Positive attitude, self-confidence, and engaging personality
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Cash handling and customer service experience
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office programs (preferred)
• Relevant experience in the financial industry (preferred)
• Legal right to work in the U.S. and ability to pass a background screening

Schedule

Up to 20 hours a week during normal business hours of 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday.

Pay

$20.09/hour plus bonus and incentives.
