Part-Time Teller

Summary

Provide accurate and timely customer service by processing daily financial transactions in a retail banking environment. Serve as the first point of contact, recommending bank products or referring clients to other areas, and developing profitable long-term relationships to maximize revenue. Maintain high customer service and procedural standards while managing cash controls.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Handle cash drawer operations, ensuring proper control and compliance with audit and security policies.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and miscellaneous transactions (bonds, money orders, etc.).
• Assist with daily ATM balancing, processing entries, and verifying deposits in depositories.
• Support vault responsibilities and stay informed of operational updates for compliance.

Client Experience

• Deliver excellent client service, promptly resolving issues and assisting with service needs.
• Enhance product knowledge through training and meetings.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and promote bank products and services.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure adherence to bank regulations, policies, and ethical standards.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

No supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 6 months of cash handling or teller experience preferred.
• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily; experience and education as noted.

Computer & Office Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Additional skills include 10-key calculator, coin counter, and familiarity with office equipment.
