Part-Time Teller

About the role

On-site banking representative responsible for providing quality customer service, processing financial transactions, and promoting bank products.

Responsibilities

• Handle cash drawer operations, process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and miscellaneous transactions like bonds and money orders.
• Assist in daily ATM balancing, verify deposits, and support vault controls.
• Maintain operational efficiency and ensure compliance with policies and security procedures.
• Deliver excellent client experiences by resolving issues promptly, assisting with service needs, and promoting bank products.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and refer clients to appropriate teams.
• Stay informed of updates to ensure compliance.
• Provide accurate, timely customer service and process transactions efficiently.
• Maintain cash control and adhere to audit/security policies.
• Assist with ATM processing, deposit verification, and vault responsibilities.
• Promote bank products, identify cross-selling opportunities, and refer clients accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal controls.
• Strive for operational excellence and deliver a positive client experience.
• Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of cash handling or teller experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
• Skills in Microsoft Office Suite, 10-key calculator, coin counter, and general office equipment are necessary.
