Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, organized, and technology-savvy Part-Time Teaching Assistant to support the instructor in a virtual Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential course. Prior knowledge of the CDA Credential is not required. Training will be provided for the responsibilities of the position. Responsibilities Monitor the virtual classroom during live Zoom sessionsAdmit students into the meeting and assist with basic classroom managementTake attendance at multiple points during each class sessionAccurately record and submit attendance using the designated attendance sheetMonitor the chat for student questions and ensure the instructor is aware of themProvide general administrative support to help classes run smoothlyMaintain a professional and welcoming online classroom environmentAssist the instructor with other course-related tasks as needed Schedule Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays Dates: September 22, 2026 – March 25, 2027 Class Time: 5:45 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Expected Hours: Approximately 6.5 hours per week Attendance Requirement: The Teaching Assistant is expected to log into the virtual classroom by 5:45 p.m. to prepare for class and remain until the instructor concludes the session. Compensation Pay: $15.00 per hour This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who is dependable, enjoys working in an educational environment, and is familiar using technology to support instructors and adult learners in a virtual classroom.
