Job Description And Position Requirements

The Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems at Penn State University Park invites applications for multiple part-time teaching assistant positions to start in Fall 2026. The successful candidates will assist Dr. Johanna Amaya for up to 10 hours per week during the academic semester.

Job Duties

  • Answering student questions
  • Hosting office hours
  • Grading assignments
  • Searching the business press for teaching materials
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled Penn State student
  • Successful completion of SCM 404 at Penn State or a similar course at a comparable institution

Compensation

Background Checks/Clearances

Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
