Part-Time Talent Acquisition Intern (Remote)
About the role
Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Part-Time Talent Acquisition Intern for its Professional Recruiting team within the Talent Acquisition function. This position will serve as a strategic partner to our business groups, providing recruiting support to the Professional Talent Acquisition team. The intern will learn all stages of the hiring process, including partnering with leadership and HR Business Partners on position requirements, search strategy, candidate management and development, and developing sourcing strategies to target and assess top talent. The role will also focus on long-term talent pipelining for future opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership and HR Business Partners to define position requirements and search strategies.
- Manage and develop candidate pipelines through sourcing, qualifying, networking, and assessing talent.
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies to research talent pools, including networking, internet research, outreach, and warm/cold calling.
- Support long-term talent pipelining for future opportunities.
- Make verbal and written presentations to senior management.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Qualifications
- Completed 3rd year of college (rising senior) with a major in Human Resources, Communications, Organizational Design, or other Business focus.
- Basic knowledge of recruiting components, including sourcing, candidate development, qualifying, networking, assessing, compensation trends, and client/candidate management.
- Experience developing innovative ways to research talent pools, with emphasis on networking, internet research, outreach, and warm/cold calling.
- Excellent project management, writing, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a large, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a complex, matrixed environment.
- Strong initiative, solid judgment, and resourcefulness to cope with ambiguous scenarios.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and email.
- Ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.
- Demonstrated agility, flexibility, and self-development mindset.
