Part-Time Tailor Levi's® Park Meadows Mall Lone Tree, CO

Responsibilities

• Executes and is responsible for basic alteration services (i.e. Hemming, patch and repair, tapering, etc.) and more technical alterations (e.g. Fitting/tailoring items other than jeans, where more technical equipment is necessary; detailed appearance altering processes.)
• Resolves tailor-related consumer concerns in a manner consistent with company policy and with consumer satisfaction in mind.
• Partners with store management on elevated consumer issues.
• Edicates and trains store teams on customer offerings and services provided by the Tailor Shop.
• Suggests looks that incorporate the latest trends and current promotions based on the consumer's needs consistent with Levi's® service approach.
• Promotes Levi's® omni experience by engaging consumers with Red Tab Loyalty program.
• Efficiently handles all cash and Tailor Shop-related merchandise operations and procedures in compliance with store policy.

Requirements

• A thorough understanding of denim industry and current/upcoming trends.
• Absolutely understands textiles and fabrics with proven skills in sewing, tailoring and textile repair.
• Has awareness of design and details.
• Strong communication skills both internally and externally.
• Is fashion savvy and interested in current trends.
• Enjoys being busy and juggling multiple tasks.
• Available to work a flexible schedule to meet, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds, as well as constant standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching overhead, and climbing ladders with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Has reliable transportation.
• Must be 16 years old.
• Has a minimum of 3 years’ sewing/tailoring experience, a strong knowledge of jeans construction, and a thorough knowledge of machines used in the sewing of denim products.
• Formal training in apparel design preferred but not required.
