Part-Time Support Staff - Women's Recovery Program

Responsibilities

  • Support, supervise, and serve as a positive role model for residents
  • Assist with medication monitoring and administration per program policies
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation
  • Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks
  • Help residents develop daily living skills and achieve treatment goals
  • Respond effectively to emergencies and crises
  • Transport residents to appointments and community resources
  • Collect urine samples and administer breathalyzer tests as needed
  • Participate in staff meetings and complete required training

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience in human services, behavioral health, or substance use recovery preferred
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining professional boundaries
  • Compassion, patience, and respect are essential
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record required

DHS 83 training is preferred or can be completed post-hire. Local travel may be needed (approximately 25–50%).
