Part-time Summer Camp Counselor
About the role
The Kids Club Attendant at Invited is responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for children at the club. This role involves supervising children, ensuring their safety, and facilitating fun and creative activities that promote learning and development. The Attendant fosters a positive, playful atmosphere while ensuring parents feel confident their children are in capable hands.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and engaging environment for children at the club.
- Supervise children, ensuring their safety and promoting learning and development through fun activities.
- Connect with members regularly, promoting club/children’s activities and engaging with families in the facility.
- Promote youth/day care center amenities, programs, and the club while maintaining a high level of professionalism and service.
- Show professionalism and willingness to coordinate activities and programs with the children based on age, interests, etc.
- Maintain constant supervision of children and ensure the cleanliness of the youth/day care center.
- Ensure daily assignments are completed to uphold Club standards and maintain orderly workspaces.
- Assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.
- Follow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same.
- Take the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role.
- Address and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.
- Attend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities to stay informed and contribute to the team’s success.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification to ensure child safety.
- Previous experience working with children in a day care, camp, or educational setting is highly desirable.
- Experience in child supervision, activity planning, or youth programs is a plus.
- Familiarity with health and safety protocols for childcare environments.
- Interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and fellow staff.
- Ability to manage and engage a group of young children in fun, age-appropriate activities.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children of various ages.
- Ability to remain calm and attentive in a fast-paced or sometimes noisy environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure a safe and structured environment for the children.

Pay
Your actual base pay will be determined by your skills, experience, education, location, and—if you're in a non-exempt role—hours worked.
Schedule
Adherence to attendance requirements as outlined in the weekly schedule. Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet position deadlines. Availability to work on weekends and/or holidays as required.
