About the role
Right At School seeks a Part-Time After-School Site Program Manager to lead and manage our extended day programs in the Floresville Area Schools. The ideal candidate will drive the mission by ensuring safety, joy, and effective communication, while maintaining compliance and adhering to state-specific requirements.
Responsibilities
- Exhibits role model qualities ensuring safety and joy standards are met by supporting a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities to a team of staff members.
- Supports operational efficiency by keeping site documents and licensing standards up to date.
- Outlines attendance protocols, behavior policies, safety procedures, and ensures program tasks are completed effectively.
- Continually coaches, fosters respectful relationships among staff to address any challenges or issues promptly to maintain team cohesion and productivity.
- Consistently supports and reports on safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all participants.
- Identifies and mitigates any potential risks within the program environment.
- Engages meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children to support effective communication and relationship building.
- Responds promptly to emails, text messages, and inquiries during program hours to ensure transparency and trust.
- Communicates and collaborates regularly with the Area Manager to support outlined program goals and assist in implementing changes or processes as guided.
- Maintains accurate records for student check-ins and check-outs. Ensures “name to face” attendance procedures are completed per company policy.
- Implements daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age with a High School diploma/GED.
- One year of supervisor/management experience.
- 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, or management.
- At least 1 year of experience in a licensed program.
Qualifications
- One year of supervisory/managerment experience.
- Coursework or training in child development and/or related field.
- Communication skills; oral, written, and visual with adults and children.
- Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community.
- Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
- Ability to meet state-specific requirements; FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter, Cleared TB as required.
