Part Time Summer Before and After School Site Program Leader -Floresville

About the role

Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs focusing on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. The mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by building a team of mission-driven individuals.

Responsibilities

• Manage the After-School Site Program in the Floresville Area Schools
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a safe and engaging environment
• Communicate effectively with families, clients, peers, and children
• Maintain accurate records for student check-ins and check-outs
• Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age with a High School diploma/GED
• One year of supervisor/management experience
• 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, or management
• At least 1 year of experience in a licensed program
• One year of supervisory/managerment experience

Qualifications

• Experience with working amongst competing priorities and delivering quality service to all stakeholders
• Coursework or training in child development and/or related field
• Communication skills; oral, written, and visual with adults and children
• Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community
• Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn

Skills

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
• One year of supervisor/management experience
• High School Diploma/GED and 18 years of age or older
• Works well in a team environment
• One year of supervisory/management experience
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age (preferred)
• Ability to lift 40lbs
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
• Ability to meet state-specific requirements; FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter, Cleared TB

Pay

$17-$20 per hour (based on education and experience)

Schedule

Monday through Friday-2:15 pm-6:30 pm and Full Day on student holidays/school closure day.
