Part-Time Student - Engineering - East Moline, IL

Your Responsibilities

• Investigate product and process related issues and recommend changes based on observations and salary/wage interactions
• Participate in the implementation for the resulting aforementioned activities
• Provide special engineering project support at the direction of the factory engineering team
• Provide analysis to support timely and accurate solutions to line side issues

What Skills You Need

• Ideally, you will be pursuing a degree in an engineering discipline; others may apply
• Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. local accredited college/university
• Available to work during the academic year, 16-20 hours per week
• Available to work during the summer semester, 30-40 hours per week
• Graduation date of July 2028 or later
• Coursework covering engineering or science-related topics
• Familiarity with information gathering and analysis techniques
• Must be able to commute to work location in East Moline, IL on a daily basis year-round
• This position is not available to students on immigration visas

What Makes You Stand Out

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or familiarity and ability work to work within a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with drawing and schematic interpretation, product models and/or geometric tolerancing
• Experience with software programming languages
• Manufacturing factory hands on experience
• Knowledge and experience with agricultural equipment or other off highway machinery
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Pay

$15 - $40 hourly based on published rates for business function and education level.
