Part Time Staff Assistant, Testing Center
Reporting to the Vice President and the Registrar, the Staff Assistant for the Testing and Assessment Center Team will be responsible for knowing detailed information about Lorain County Community College as a whole.
Responsibilities
- Answer student and faculty inquiries
- Maintain appointment schedule
- Administer exams and placement assessments
- Assist with external inquiries
The environment can be fast-paced with quiet space; calm and positive customer service skills are essential.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent learning
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Ability to multi-task
- Stellar customer service skills
- Ability to flourish in a team environment
- Ease with utilizing Windows-based computers
- Work some evening hours per week and some Saturdays per month
- Part-time hours will not exceed 25 hours per week
Qualifications
- Preferred: Associate Degree
- Preferred: Experience with a student information system (e.g., PeopleSoft)

Established in 1963, Lorain County Community College is the first community college in Ohio with a permanent campus.
