About the role
The City of Midwest City is seeking a Part Time Sports Complex Attendant in the Parks and Recreation department.
Responsibilities
- Report to the Parks and Recreations Supervisor and the Sports Field Maintenance Supervisor
- Maintain the surfaces of the athletic playing fields, both natural grass and artificial turf
- Aid in daily ball field preparation
- Work on-site, primarily outdoors and in the morning or afternoon, weekends, and holidays
- Use light power equipment and hand tools
- Create positive working relationships
- Communicate effectively
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Walk to and from the different fields
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent preferred
- Experience in golf course and/or turf maintenance preferred
- Valid Oklahoma Driver's License and insurable
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Qualifications
- Ability to use light power equipment and hand tools
- Ability to collaborate and create positive working relationships
- Motivated and punctual, able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to walk to and from the different fields

Pay
Starting salary range: $12.8535-$14.4210/hr.
