Part Time Sports Complex Attendant

The City of Midwest City is currently accepting applications for a Part Time Sports Complex Attendant in the Parks and Recreation department.

Responsibilities

• Work with other members of the crew to maintain the surfaces of the athletic playing fields, both natural grass and artificial turf.
• Absorb and prepare the ball fields for daily use.
• Work on-site, primarily outdoors and in the morning or afternoon, weekends, and holidays.
• Use light power equipment and hand tools.
• Create positive working relationships and communicate effectively.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. and walk to and from the different fields.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent preferred.
• Experience in golf course and/or turf maintenance preferred.
• Valid Oklahoma Driver's License and insurable.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work safely and collaboratively.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and walk to and from the different fields.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Ability to use light power equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to collaborate and create positive working relationships.
• Motivated and punctual.
• Effective communication skills.

This position is seasonal and does not offer benefits.

Pay

Starting salary: $12.8535-$14.4210/hr.
