Part-time Shoe Runner Associate (Evenings and Weekends)

Responsibilities

  • Aid in managing Men's, Women's, and Youth shoe areas.
  • Communicate proactively with the Specialty Shop Manager and team to address immediate needs.
  • Select shoes from backstock and place them in the staging area for sales associates.
  • Return unpurchased shoes to the correct areas in backstock.
  • Support Customer Service with shoe return processing and returning items to the sales floor.
  • Maintain organized product displays to ensure accuracy in inventory records.
  • Engage warmly with customers, fostering a positive shopping experience.
  • Maintain a smooth workflow to reduce customer wait times.
  • Perform tasks independently and collaboratively with the team.
  • Communicate effectively through both oral and written means.
  • Show attention to detail and adhere to organizational standards.
  • Present a professional image and maintain a positive team dynamic.
  • Follow Scheels policies and procedures.
  • Be willing to undertake additional tasks as directed by leadership and merchandisers.

Requirements

  • Treat co-workers, customers, and business partners with respect and courtesy.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 months of sales experience.
  • Display a genuine interest in learning and applying new knowledge.
  • Adapt to a changing work environment and demonstrate teachability.
  • Meet Scheels’ dress and grooming expectations.
  • Operate with physical demands suitable for heavy work, including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently.
