Part Time Shift Coordinator in Costco

About the role

We assist with daily store operations, including opening and closing operations for events. We support adherence to all warehouse standards for safety, customer service, product quality, operations, and store cleanliness. We serve as a role model and resource for other staff.

Responsibilities

• Support adherence to all warehouse standards for safety, customer service, product quality, operations, and store cleanliness.
• Serve as a role model & resource for other staff.
• Influence the buyer’s behavior through customer education, engagement, and enthusiastically promoting and demonstrating the product.
• Prepare, cook, and clean work area and equipment.
• Support demo events, ensuring carts, equipment, and supplies are set up and removed properly.
• Engage Costco members through product demonstrations and education.
• Aid in food safety, sanitation, and daily safety inspections.
• Provide excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with clients, customers, and team members.
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills.
• Operate with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment.

Requirements

• Comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
• Age 18 or older.
• Available to work 2-3 shifts per week, including weekends.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and standing for up to 6 hours.
• Comfortable preparing, cooking, and cleaning work area and equipment.
• Comfortable supporting demo events, ensuring carts, equipment, and supplies are set up and removed properly.
• Reliable transportation to and from work location.
• Ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment.

Qualifications

No prior experience is required as we provide training and team support to help you succeed.
