Job Duties
- Supports and coordinates with other staff in the delivery of appropriate housing stability and support services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
- Maintains the safety and wellbeing of program participants.
- Maintains the cleanliness of the facility.
- Supports team members by serving as a resource for analyzing and solving problems.
- Manages the milieu and addresses any program participant conflicts immediately to de-escalate.
- Assists in the training and supervision of volunteers during shifts worked.
- Performs job responsibilities in accordance with the Social Work Code of Ethics.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensures that the program participants’ voices are heard.
- Possesses an in-depth knowledge regarding program requirements.
- Develops specialized knowledge related to service delivery database systems within the organization.
- Maintains confidentiality of all information.
- Maintains physical and emotional safety of all program participants.
- Supports team members by serving as a resource for analyzing and solving problems.
- Oversees and participates in general program facility maintenance.
- Aids in the training of junior personnel.
Working Conditions And Physical Requirements
- Ability to be single staffed while in the facility.
- Ability to quickly and safely go up and down stairs.
- Lifting occasionally up to 50lbs.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in a related area or the equivalent experience in human services.
- One-year direct human service experience (on top of degree or human services experience equivalency).
- Complete program credentialing process, to include criminal and civil background checks within 30 days of hire and fingerprinting.
- Must possess a Colorado driver’s license and state-mandated automobile insurance.
- Must possess a personal vehicle that may be used for work-related travel.
