Part-Time Service Technician

About the role

The General Service Technician performs basic automotive services such as oil changes, tire mounting, balancing, rotation, and light maintenance tasks. They may assist with customer driving, parts pickup, and shop cleanliness, ensuring a safe and inviting environment.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, and rotate tires, perform oil changes, and document vehicle conditions using inspection and repair orders.
• Maintain cleanliness of the shop and surrounding areas.
• Drive vehicles safely, obey traffic laws, and transport customers, parts, and supplies as needed.
• Follow safety procedures, report hazards, and perform other duties assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of automotive systems preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in varying environmental conditions.
• Strong communication skills and adherence to safety standards.
