About the Role

Deliver exceptional dining experiences in a senior living environment by providing courteous table service, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards. Collaborate with team members to uphold dining standards, support special events, and ensure resident needs are met through effective communication and a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient table service to residents.
• Assist with food preparation as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards.
• Support special events and dining-related activities.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold dining service standards.
• Ensure resident needs are met promptly and professionally.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Contribute to a welcoming, sanitary, and safe dining environment.
• Take and deliver food orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain sanitation and hygiene in all dining and kitchen areas.
• Support cost control measures and operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented, and safe work environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to two years of experience preferred, especially in senior living or hospitality.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency with digital tools and point-of-sale systems.
• Certifications such as CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) are desirable.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds (or with assistance up to 200 pounds).
• Commitment to participating in all safety protocols and training.
