About the role
Server in a senior living community, responsible for serving meals and maintaining efficient dining operations.
Responsibilities
- Follow written and oral instructions to provide pleasant and efficient meal service.
- Assist in setup, serving food, delivering trays, bussing tables, and preparing beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and proper use of kitchen and dining equipment.
- Communicate effectively with residents and relate menus appropriately.
- Observe infection control procedures and resident rights policies.
- Work cooperatively with team members, demonstrating dependability and professionalism.
- Support resident-centered activities and participate in meetings or projects as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand, bend, and perform physical tasks.
- Professional appearance, good hygiene, and adherence to dress code.
- Ability to relate courteously with residents and staff.
- Must pass drug testing and background checks.
