Part-Time Senior Radiation Therapist

Role Overview Seeking a Part-Time Senior Certified Radiation Therapist to perform patient treatments utilizing ionizing radiation under the guidance of Radiation Oncologists. The role involves preparing patients and charts, delivering accurate treatments, and coordinating scheduling. It requires working during day shifts, with no weekends unless on paid call, and involves advanced treatment techniques using the latest technology such as SBRT, SRS, Adaptive, OSMS, Identify, and Hypersite on various treatment machines including TrueBeam, Edge, ViewRay, Gamma Knife, and Hyperthermia. Qualifications include completing an accredited Radiation Therapy program, being ARRT Board Certified, holding an RT(T) license, and having 2 or more years of experience. A Bachelor's Degree in Radiation Therapy is preferred. Key Responsibilities Prepare patients and charts prior to procedures.Deliver accurate and consistent radiation treatments.Complete treatments and manage patient scheduling. Skills And Requirements Experience with advanced radiation therapy techniques and treatment machines.Strong knowledge of radiation oncology procedures.Ability to coordinate treatment plans and ensure patient safety.
