Part-Time Senior Radiation Therapist

Role Overview This position involves performing patient treatments utilizing ionizing radiation under the guidance of a Radiation Oncologist. The role requires preparing patients and charts prior to procedures, delivering precise and consistent treatments, and coordinating patient schedules. It involves working with advanced radiation therapy technology, including machines like TrueBeam, Edge, ViewRay, Gamma Knife, and Hyperthermia, utilizing techniques such as SBRT, SRS, and adaptive therapies. Responsibilities Prepare patients and charts before treatment.Deliver accurate radiation treatments.Complete treatments and manage patient scheduling. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree in Radiation Therapy preferred.Board Certified by ARRT and RT(T) credential.2 or more years of relevant experience; supervision experience is a plus.Proficiency with advanced radiation treatment machines and techniques. Candidates should be detail-oriented, capable of working with high-tech equipment, and committed to patient care. The role is part-time, with specific day shift hours, no weekend work unless on paid call, and involves compensation for being on call.
