About the role
The Part-Time Maintenance Associate at Go Store It Management is responsible for providing exceptional on-site customer service, converting reservations into rentals, performing regular site checks, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the storage facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide over-the-top on-site customer service to customers, aiming for 5 Star Google Reviews.
- Follow up with customers to convert reservations into rentals.
- Complete a weekly walk-through, bi-weekly site checklist, and monthly video walkthrough, including daily lock checks and simple work orders.
- Walk the property every day to look for trash, damage, lights out, leaks, or anything else that’s off.
- Fix small things like locks, lights, doors, toilets, and simple paint or patch repairs.
- Keep the property clean, including hallways, driveways, units, bathrooms, and trash runs.
- Turn over units after move-outs, sweeping, cleaning, and preparing them for the next renter.
- Check gates, lights, and alarms to ensure they're working properly.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. While no prior experience is necessary, you must be able to show up and do the work.
Qualifications
While not necessary, having a college degree or extensive experience in a similar role may be beneficial.
Skills
Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential for this position.
