Part-Time Security Officer

Pay: $20.00/hour Location: Newington, NH Employment Type: Part-Time Available Schedules We are currently hiring for three part-time Security Officer openings: Wednesday & Thursday: 12:00 AM–8:00 AM — 16 hours/weekSaturday & Sunday: 12:00 AM–8:00 AM — 16 hours/weekFriday & Saturday: 4:00 PM–11:00 PM — 14 hours/week Securitas is hiring Security Officers to support a secure facility in Newington, NH. This is a great opportunity for dependable individuals who are comfortable working independently, maintaining a professional presence, and helping provide a safe and secure environment. What You'll Do Monitor and control access to the facilityConduct scheduled security patrolsObserve and report unusual or suspicious activityRespond appropriately to incidents and security concernsComplete accurate daily activity and incident reportsMaintain a professional and helpful presence for employees and visitorsFollow established site procedures and post orders What We're Looking For Strong reliability and professionalismGood communication and customer service skillsAbility to remain alert and attentive throughout the shiftComfortable using basic computers and electronic reporting systemsAbility to work independently and follow established proceduresSecurity experience is welcome, but not required Securitas provides training to help you succeed in the role and offers opportunities to build experience and grow within the security industry. Valid NH Security Guard license/guard card preferred, but not required. Candidates without an active NH guard card must be willing to complete the New Hampshire licensing process, including a trip to Concord. The licensing process averages approximately two weeks. The total licensing cost is $40 ($35 personal non-reimbursable cost and $5 reimbursed by Securitas). No fingerprinting is required.
