Part-Time Security Officer

About the role

We are looking for a part-time Security Officer to represent our company professionally. This role works 20-24 hours per week and requires weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and positive shopping experience for all guests.
• Protect the property both on foot and by vehicle, remaining visible and observant.
• Maintain the security cellular phone and professionally respond to all calls for service within the center.
• Remain calm and handle issues confidently while applying conflict resolution skills.
• Assist the security manager in implementing the center's safety work plan, activities, surveillance, projects, and programs.
• Document activity using appropriate corporate and center security forms, ensuring work is concise, accurate, and thorough.
• Perform all duties according to OSHA-established health and safety standards.

Requirements

• 1 year or more of security experience.
• First-aid and CPR certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Exceptional observational skills.

Pay

Competitive hourly range of $20-22 based on previous experience.
