Part Time Security Officer

About the role

Floater position with hours included at a manufacturing plant. Must have a valid Michigan driver's license, excellent customer service skills, a professional appearance and demeanor, and be comfortable using computers and technology. Prior security experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel
• Actively monitors the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations
• Preserves order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area
• Provides customer service and information to a client's employees and customers

Requirements

• Valid Michigan driver's license
• Driver certification required
• Must pass drug screen and background check
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
