Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare office location, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor entrances and access points, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations through accurate written and/or electronic reports.

Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
