Key Responsibilities Monitor all areas of the campus for safety, security, facilities, and traffic concerns.Assist and direct teams, parents, and visitors with schedule and event locations.Address and report suspicious, unusual activity or unsafe conditions.Monitor door access controls, video camera system, fire detection systems, and security alarm systems.Collect lost or misplaced items and place them in the appropriate Lost and Found.Assist with special events and athletic game setups.All other duties as needed or directed. Qualifications Minimum two years of prior experience as an emergency first responder.Current CPR and First Aid certification.Good communication skills.Ability and willingness to immediately respond to and act during emergency incidents and security concerns.Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 2 hours at a time.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.Ability to recognize drug and alcohol abuse.Ability to communicate through a portable radio. Must have a valid driver’s license & a clean driving record.Ability to work a flexible schedule to include afternoons, evenings, overnights, and weekends.Must be willing to be a part of a “team” environment and work toward communicated goals.SRO Certification recommended but not required. Education A high school diploma or equivalent
