Duties And Responsibilities
- Teaches in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing and Loyola University Chicago.
- Adheres to state and federal laws related to privacy and confidentiality.
- Communicates effectively with students and colleagues.
- Ensures teaching efficiency and quality in virtual laboratory sessions.
- Guides students in applying theoretical content to laboratory exercises and activities.
- Maintains an inclusive classroom environment for effective teaching and learning.
- Responds to students in a timely manner and serves as the course mentor.
- Uses multiple teaching modalities to support student achievement of course outcomes.
- Demonstrates enthusiasm for teaching.
- Maintains collaborative working relationships with Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing colleagues.
- Engages in continuous professional development to enhance teaching, practice, and scholarship skills.
Qualifications
- Academic preparation includes a Master of Science degree or equivalent.
- Teaching experience is favored, and proficiency with virtual laboratories for anatomy, physiology, or chemistry is preferred.
