Duties And Responsibilities

• Teaches in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing and Loyola University Chicago.
• Adheres to state and federal laws related to privacy and confidentiality.
• Communicates effectively with students and colleagues.
• Ensures teaching efficiency and quality in virtual laboratory sessions.
• Guides students in applying theoretical content to laboratory exercises and activities.
• Maintains an inclusive classroom environment for effective teaching and learning.
• Responds to students in a timely manner and serves as the course mentor.
• Uses multiple teaching modalities to support student achievement of course outcomes.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm for teaching.
• Maintains collaborative working relationships with Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing colleagues.
• Engages in continuous professional development to enhance teaching, practice, and scholarship skills.

Qualifications

• Academic preparation includes a Master of Science degree or equivalent.
• Teaching experience is favored, and proficiency with virtual laboratories for anatomy, physiology, or chemistry is preferred.
