Part Time School Van Driver

Responsibilities

• $22.00 per hour w/ weekends OFF!
• Split shift w/ part-time hours
• NO CDL REQUIRED!
• Paid Training Classes Starting Immediately

Requirements

• No CDL required, we will train to obtain a valid School Bus Permit
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Driver’s License for three (3) years in good standing
• No reckless driving charges within three (3) years or tickets for driving 25 mph over speed limit within the past three (3) years
• Must be in compliance with all city, state and federal vehicle driver licensing and permit laws and requirements

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Desire to work with students of all ages with disabilities

• Starting pay rate: $22/hour

• Other Compensation: $500 Driver referral bonus ($500.00 upon 90-day completion of probationary period); $1,000.00 Mechanic referral bonus ($500.00 upon training completion and $500.00 upon completion of probationary period)

Reliant Transportation

Reliant Transportation provides safe and reliable school bus operations, and we are eager to serve our students in communities requiring special needs transit in the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. Students in special education cluster programs within Chicago area schools will still be full-time, learn at school/in-person.
