Part Time School Program Manager - Hillsboro School District
Job Summary
Right At School is seeking a Program Manager to lead and support local school district before and after school extended day programs. The ideal candidate will drive the mission by ensuring safety and joy standards are met, supporting operational efficiency, and fostering respectful relationships among staff.
About the Role
Right At School provides a safe and engaging environment for children through daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum. The Program Manager will work with a team of staff members to implement these activities and ensure the well-being of all participants.
Responsibilities
- Exhibits role model qualities ensuring safety and joy standards are met
- Supports operational efficiency by keeping site documents and licensing standards up to date
- Outlines attendance protocols, behavior policies, safety procedures, and ensures program tasks are completed effectively
- Continually coaches, fosters respectful relationships among staff to address any challenges or issues promptly
- Maintains accurate records for student check-ins and check-outs
- Ensures “name to face” attendance procedures are completed per company policy
- Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment
- Engage meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children to support effective communication and relationship building
- Respond promptly to emails, text messages, and inquiries during program hours to ensure transparency and trust
- Communicate and collaborate regularly with the Area Manager to support outlined program goals and assist in implementing changes or processes as guided
- Conducts regular safety assessments and reports on safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all participants
- Models professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community
- Willing to undergo background check process, including Family Care Safety Registry registration/screening and clear eligibility letter from the state
- Completes necessary coursework or training in child development and/or related fields
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED completed
- Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs
- Coursework or training in child development and/or related field
- Communication skills; oral, written, and visual with adults and children
- Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn
- MO Requirements Center Director Certification from Missouri's Dept. of Secondary Education (DESE) office
- Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community
- Willingness to undergo background check process, including Family Care Safety Registry registration/screening and clear eligibility letter from the state
- First Aid and CPR-in-person
- Cleared tuberculosis test
- 18+ years of age
- Proof of High School diploma/GED required

Pay
$21-26 per hour (dependent on education and experience)
Schedule
Mon-Fri: 6:AM-8:15AM and 3:15PM-6PM
