About the role
Masters Academy International is seeking a compassionate, organized, and experienced part-time Staff Nurse to support the health and wellbeing of students in our boarding school community.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive healthcare services, promoting wellness, and ensuring a safe living and learning environment for students residing on campus.
- Serve as a primary healthcare provider and health educator for our unique boarding school community, supporting student-athletes who live away from home.
- Offer critical on-campus support including routine health checks and coordinated care for illnesses or injuries, which may occasionally require evening or weekend availability.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or adolescent healthcare strongly preferred.
- Credentials: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts (or eligibility for licensure).
- Expertise: Demonstrated success in clinical assessment and decision-making.
- Knowledge: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to respond calmly in emergency situations; Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities; Compassionate approach when working with adolescents from diverse backgrounds.
Qualifications

Pay
The salary for this role is between $40.00-$43.75/hour.
Schedule
This role is a part-time regular position, not benefits eligible. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 4:00pm-8:00pm. The role may require occasional weekend availability to support boarding students.
Additional Information
This role works on the 10-month school calendar (typically September to June).
