School Nurse (Part-time/0.5)

About the role

Masters Academy International is seeking a compassionate, organized, and experienced part-time Staff Nurse to support the health and wellbeing of students in our boarding school community. The Staff Nurse will provide comprehensive healthcare services, promote wellness, and ensure a safe living and learning environment for students residing on campus.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine health checks and coordinated care for illnesses or injuries for boarding students.
• Support the health and wellness of student-athletes in a dynamic boarding school community.
• Communicate with stakeholders including parents, dormitory staff, and local emergency services.
• Work evenings and weekends as needed to support boarding students.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or adolescent healthcare strongly preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts (or eligibility for licensure).

• Ability to respond calmly in emergency situations.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.

This role is not benefits eligible.

Pay

The salary for this role is between $40.00-$43.75/hour.

Schedule

The role is Monday through Friday from 4:00pm-8:00pm. The role may require occasional weekend availability to support boarding students.
