Part-Time RN Psych Outpatient

This role involves providing professional nursing care in a mental health/psychiatric setting, designing care plans, and supporting recovery for diverse patient populations including pediatric to geriatric. Responsibilities include assessing patient health, observing behavior, performing triage and crisis intervention, administering medications, and coordinating treatments. The nurse educates patients and families, documents symptoms and treatments, and facilitates communication among healthcare providers. Adherence to policies, safety standards, and quality improvement initiatives is essential. The role also entails participating in ongoing professional development, administrative tasks, and mentoring new staff as a preceptor. Candidates must possess a nursing degree from a nationally accredited program, RN licensure, CPR certification, and possibly IV certification. Bilingual Skills And Related Experience Are Preferred.
