Part-Time Outpatient RN

About the role

Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care in an ambulatory setting, demonstrating clinical leadership and mentorship to staff. Serve as a role model and support patient education for diverse age groups, including neonates to geriatrics. Assist physicians with tests, procedures, and treatments, ensuring accurate documentation of medical records, lab results, and patient histories.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions, set care goals, and implement appropriate nursing actions.
• Administer medications, perform routine treatments, and carry out physician orders.
• Assist with emergency measures and respond to adverse developments.
• Support patient safety by following policies, reporting risks, and encouraging patient participation.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Contribute to staff training, orientation, and evaluation.
• Provide patient and family education on preventive care and medical treatments.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; RN licensure required.
• CPR certification within 30 days.

Skills

• Preferred bilingual skills and relevant experience.
• Physical ability to perform heavy work, including moving objects or patients.
• Knowledge of safety protocols, emergency response, and patient advocacy.
