Part Time RN - Advanced Acute Care Medical

About the role

This is a part-time Inpatient RN position on a 24-bed acute care unit, providing complex care for patients with diverse medical conditions, including pneumonia, COPD, cardiac, renal, GI disorders, and postoperative cases. The RN assesses, plans, performs, and evaluates nursing activities, promoting patient safety, satisfaction, and compassionate care. The unit provides valuable experience for those interested in emergency or critical care nursing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Coordinate patient needs, discharge planning, and family education.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to address patient needs proactively.
• Participate in quality, safety, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and contribute to decision-making processes.

Qualifications

Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
